ADDITIONAL NEYZEN INTERESTS
Neyzen Travel and Yachting has also made a variety of investments in order to complement and strengthen their main interest – individual travel to Turkey and Greece for international guests.
Kuba Restaurant and Bar
During the late 1980s and early 90s, Neyzen’s main efforts were devoted to the Bodrum region. At the time, good restaurants were limited, and the nightlife catered only to the very young.
Neyzen owned a unique piece of property with an Ottoman house on the Bodrum harbor overlooking the crusader castle. In 1994, with an experienced partner, they opened one of the city’s most exclusive restaurants and nightclubs.
Today Kuba Restaurant and Bar remains at the top of Bodrum’s culinary and nightlife list of recommendations.
Neyzen Auto Service Center
In 1996, due to their increased vehicle use as well as their need to supply fuel for their yachts, Neyzen decided to open a service station under the Shell umbrella. This allows them to inspect their vehicles regularly and carefully and maintain cleanliness and high standards for their vehicles prior to use by guests.
Neyzen Car Rental Company
Neyzen also received guests who desired detailed personal itineraries planned for them – all hotels reservations, flights, guides, etc., but who preferred driving their own vehicles. Addressing that need in 1997, Neyzen established their own car rental company – Neyzen Car.
With their main office at the Bodrum airport and branch office in Bodrum, Neyzen rents cars principally from Izmir to Antalya. However, through good relations with other reputable car rental companies, they are able to offer safe and reliable car rentals through all of Turkey and Greece.
Carrefour Supermarket and Department Store
Due to their very busy yachting industry with its specialized high end catering, Neyzen Travel and Yachting entered into a joint venture in 2007 with the large French Carrefour chain. They opened a Carrefour supermarket and department store on one of Neyzen’s properties.
Izer Hotel and Resort
In 2008, Neyzen decided to enter the hotel industry, purchasing one of Bodrum’s prime beach locations with an actively running hotel. The beautiful Izer Hotel and Resort is closed for renovations and upgrading, and it will re-open in June 2009.
